  • This paw grants wishes, but it is very dangerous. It is better to dispose of it.

  • Wishes you say? Maybe the consequences are worth it.
  • A frightening tale of how wishes don't always go as planned.

  • I’m so sorry. Henry has passed away.
  • One calm evening, Mr. White and his son Herbert play chess. This sparks outrage in the father, as he loses.
  • Falling Action
  • I wish my son was alive again..
  • Wish him back!
  • They then hear a knock on the door. A sergeant major had arrived as their guest. He told the tale of the monkey's paw. However, Mr. White disregards the consequences and uses the paw to wish for a great heap of cash.
  • Resolution
  • I wish our son wasn’t back to life!
  • No!
  • The family neglected the warnings and decided to wish for great wealth. The next day, after the son leaves for work, the family gets a message to tell them that their some passed away. However, the company gave them the exact amount of money that was wished for as an apology and their condolences.
  • Mr. and Mrs. White were devastated. They couldn’t believe they lost their son to the monkey paws curse. Then, Mrs. White got an amazing idea to wish Henry back to life. Mr. White did not want to risk it, but she was adamant. He agreed to make the wish
  • They then heard a knock on the door. Mr. White was terrified, but Mrs. White was thrilled. What could be behind that door? He wasn’t willing to find out. Mr. White wished his final wish to stop what was going to bust through that door.
