It's review time! How are elements 1-26 formed?
Well, hydrogen clumps together into stars.
Right, then the hydrogen were fused and made into helium.
And stars with less hydrogen use helium as fuel instead of hydrogen.
Then helium can stick together and form the even-numbered elements.
Or helium breaks apart and forms odd- numbered elements.
And big stars with more fuel can form elements 7-12 from carbon.
As stars burn off lighter elements, they fuse the rest of the elements in 1-26.
Elements 27-92 are formed by stars collapsing and exploding when they die.
When they recover from collapsing, they explode and the rest of the elements can be formed!
Science sure is fascinating, right?!
