Alex and his friend are playing soccer like they always have all their life, and so did their parents. Alex is using traditional economy because he is doing thing him and his family has always done them, showing capitalistic freedom of choice because he doesn't have to follow his parents but he is.
Brooke is in 11th grade and is going to school. During school the teachers use the teaching methods from the government, but have to be in charge of their own supplies, showing mixed economy. The teacher's supplies is their own private property.
Fred and his dad own their farm and sell their own products showing market economy, this economy uses private property because its their own farm, freedom of choice because they can do anything they want on their farm, profit because whatever they make on their products they get, and competition because there could be other farms selling the same stuff.

An entire family rents a boat from the government and uses it for the day, showing command economy. The government is using profit by having the family pay to use the boat for the day.
A rich family owns their own companies and therefore they have a market economy because people buy their products. Competition is being used because other companies try to take over others like this one.
