Japanese is a colonization that was more about the wealth of the country and they knew that the only other big port was Pearl Harbor and they were going to be able to take them out is what they had thought. So they agreed on attacking Pearl Harbor.
Aftermath of Pearl Harbor
AHHHHHH SO MANY BODIES!!!!!
Japan was making a big profit from the oil and steel business, they were taking this to many part of the world but then as Pearl Harbor started to get bigger and bigger it was taking a lot of the business that the Japanese were getting.
FDR/"Date Which Will Live In Infamy
Pearl Harbor/The Surprise Attack was the Japaneses who had trained months for this attack had two waves where they were in airplanes and they drooped bombs on the Americans in Hawaii and the Japanese tried to take out Pearl Harbor because they felt that this was the only threat that they had so they had to take them out.
Japaneses/American Point Of View
After Peal Harbor it was the American upset about the fact that they had been bombed for no reasons so the Americans felt the need to go to war over this, so they started to get ready for war. Japanese knew that they were going to start a war but hadn't done much about it.
Franklin Roosevelt had spoken out about the fact that were attacked and that we needed them to feel infamy because they weren't going to get away with the fact that they had bombed us. So Franklin compared it to waking up a gaint, which the Japanese did.
The American and Japanese point of view is pretty different, the Americans didn't want war and knew that it was going to bloody, also that many lives were going to be lost. The Japanese point of view is more like they knew that they had to take out Pearl Harbor because it was a threat to Japan so we did what they felt they had to do to take the Americans out.
