John Fitzgerald Kennedy "JFK" was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline Massachusetts. He was born into a wealthy family since his grandfather was a wealthy banker and liquor trader. He grew up with 8 other siblings 3 brothers and 5 sisters. His father was Joseph p. Kennedy and his mother was Rose kennedy
Kennedy attended a catholic boarding school growing up called Canterbury. Kennedy was a poor student and a mischievous child. After graduating from Canterbury he attended Princeton for a semester and ended up transferring to Harvard. He ended up graduating from Harvard and Joined the U.S. Navy
Cuban Missle Crisis
In 1952 after Kennedy was elected for U.S. Senate he met a young woman named Jacqueline Bouvier at a dinner party. They started dating after that dinner party and were officially married on September 12, 1953.
Circumstances of death
On November 8, 1960 at the age of 43 John F. Kennedy won the presidential election and became the second youngest president in American history. He was also the first Catholic president in U.S.History
In October of 1962 Kennedy had discovered that russia had been sending ballistic nuclear missiles to Cuba. The U.S. responded by creating a blockade around cuba to stop the russians from bringing more nuclear missiles into Cuba. Throughout these couple of days the world felt that they were on the brink of a nuclear war.
On November 21, 1963 John F. Kennedy was assassinated at a political campaign in Dallas, Texas. He was shot in the head from an upstairs window of a book depository by a 24 year old male named Lee Harvey Oswald.
