I want everything to be perfect when I finally see Daisy again, so postponing our meeting to have the grass cut is necessary, even if it means asking Nick to accommodate my needs.
I want to get the grass cut
My first interaction with Daisy in almost five years was very awkward, I'm not sure why I came in the first place. I should have known this wasn't going to work out.
This is a terrible mistake
I love it, but I don't see how you live there all alone.
Gatsby is a charming man with an immense amount of wealth, I can't imagine why he doesn't have any company.
His count of enchanted objects had diminished by one.
Gatsby looked at that green light in the distance as a symbol of his yearning to see Daisy again, which made the light seem impossibly far away. Now that Daisy was here by his side, the light seemed closer than ever, just a she was. The light's mystery and unobtainable enchantment turned into a very close reality.
Gatsby has been dreaming and imagining this moment over and over in his mind for nearly five years, I'm sure Daisy has fallen short of some of his fantasies. Regardless, he seems very content to finally be in her presence again.
It had gone beyond her, beyond everything.
I'm wondering what the future holds for Gatsby and Daisy. Will Daisy leave Tom to be with Gatsby, or will she stay with Tom and try to be friends with Gatsby? Could Daisy have a secret relationship with Gatsby, similar to Tom's mistress? I also wonder how Tom will react to the decision Daisy makes, as he seems to have a short temper.
