The Monsters are Due on Maple street Theme: Fear and suspicion are destructive forces
Evidence 1: Everyone was in a panic and they have never experienced a blackout and they thought that someone was playing tricks or pranks on them. So everyone was using their electricity then there was a blackout everyone tried using their electricity but it was no use. Everyone went insane about the lights being off.
In the story The Monsters are due on Maple Street in all of the 3 scenes everyone was in a panic because of what had happened which was a weird blackout and they thought someone was playing pranks so one person went to check on the power which was Pete van horn then all of the commotion happened everyone was on a panic Les Goodman's car started and everyone rushed over to there house immediately and they started accusing him and his family then every single person on Maple Street didn't have evidence to support the people they accused to make sure they weren't aliens and they said who's ever family is strange could be the aliens and they best knew that Les Goodman's family fits that description later on the lights turned off and on they accused themselves and others when they weren't aliens when the lights in there house turned on.
Evidence 2: Everyone was in a panic about the lights turning off and then Les Goodman's car started and then it turned off and on 2 times in 1 minute everyone was super suspicious about the car starting all by itself so now everyone is now curious if Les Goodman is an alien or not so then they accuse him and ask him questions and the look on his face looks nervous and guilty like if he was an alien.
Evidence 3: Every single person on Maple Street did't have evidence to support that the people they accused to be aliens and they were very suspicious about what they can do if they are aliens and they said that the family who acts strange may be the aliens
