Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Actions
  • A boy named Roger tries to rob Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones. He runs up to her randomly and tries to grab it on the side of the street. Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones is not going to allow this.
  • Climax
  • Man vs. Man; Roger tried to steal Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones' purse and she was able to stop him from stealing.
  • Falling Actions
  • One of the rising actions is when Mrs. Luella makes Roger come home with her and on the way there she is yelling at him while others stop and stare. She asks him what she did for him to try and steal from her.
  • Resolution
  • The climax is when they both actually get to the house and Roger is done attempting to steal the purse. They start talking a little bit too as they get into the house.
  • Once they make it into the kitchen, she makes him wash his face and talk to her while she makes dinner. She is basically forcing to be better because he isn't a bad kid and he needs to know that.
  • Roger tells Mrs. Luella that he tried stealing her purse because he has no one at home and he wants blue suede shoes. She just gave him the money and told him to ask next time instead of him trying to steal again. They never saw each other again.
