Storyboard Text

  • Hello, ok that is great my name is Lis.
  • Hi, my name is Miss Ross and I want to teach you about setting health goals.
  • What are health goals?
  • Health goals make you aware and responsible. In a health goal you want to make sure it's manageable  and measurable meaning there is a end date and a end date and also make sure you have steps to achieve your goal.
  • So a health goal is something that you want to achieve or make something better about yourself.
  • Hi, Miss Ross I think I need to set a health goal because I 'm very underweight and it's not healthy.
  • That's great that your thinking about setting a goal but first you need to know the difference between long-tern and short-term goals and if you do plan on making a goal you need to take action in doing your goal.
  • What's the difference between a long-tern goal and short-term goal?
  • An example of a long-term goal is going and completing college, as it takes 3-4 years to complete college for a bachelor's degree.
  • Well, a long-term goal is a goal set for you to achieve with 3-5 years, while  a short-term goal might take a few days, weeks, or maybe months. An example of a short-term goal is to get on the A/B honor roll at school, which only takes 2-3 months.
  • Thank you, so much for teaching me about setting health goals. I've learned a lot.
  • You're welcome and I hope you start some goals and fallow throw. Goodbye and thank you.
  • I'm going to go and start a health plan right now.
