The nitrogen cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which nitrogen is converted into various chemical forms as it passes through the atmosphere, terrestrial, and marine ecosystems
HI my name is billy and me and my friends are going to tell you about the nitrogen Cycle
Process 1# Nitrogen Fixation
Nitrogen fixation is a process in which nitrogen (N2) in the Earth's atmosphere is converted into ammonia (NH3) witch plants use to make protien
Process 2# Nitrification
Nitrification is the biological oxidation of ammonia or ammonium to nitrite followed by the oxidation of the nitrite to nitrate
Process 3# Ammonification
Ammonification is the process by which the organically bound nitrogen of microbial, plant, and animal biomass is recycled after their death
Process 4# Denitrification
Denitrification is a microbially facilitated process of nitrate reduction (performed by a large group of heterotrophic facultative anaerobic bacteria) that may ultimately produce molecular nitrogen (N2) through a series of intermediate gaseous nitrogen oxide products
I hope my friends helped you understand the nitrogen cycle. Sometimes it can be hard to understand but with a good explanation it is pretty easy
