December 1960: The FMDM Sisters arrived in Nathalia. There was a garden party to welcome them.
February 1961: The very fist day of school. There were 120 primary students and 5 secondary students.
1990: Mr. Bill Teggelove became the school principal. He was the very first non- religious principal. Since St. Mary's was a catholic school, it showed that they were inclusive to anybodies beliefs.
2004: The primary school was moved to a new sight. St. Mary's became just a secondary school.
2010: The St. Clare auditorium was built. The school could now put on productions and the students could show off their talents and be more involved with the school comunity.
2012: A trade training, auto motive and hospitality centre opened. This meant the students in year's 11 and 12 could learn at they wanted to be easier and other schools could benefit from it too. Year 11 and 12 St. Mary's students could go to other schools and use their facility's as well.
