- Because the women wanted to go in space they had to do multiple tests so they could be able to go into space.

- Although the criticism about women in space was harsh, the women still pushed through it all.

- To pass all the tests, the women had to show grit and push through them.

- Betty Skelton wanted to go into space but she had to pass the tests first so she pushed through the tests.
- The difference is that women are more capable to hold their emotions then men are during the tests and that difference matters because that means that the women persevered and showed grit.

- Pushing through the criticism the women persevered and listened to the opinions but didn't follow them.
