Storyboard Text

  • After defeating the monster, Oedipus became the king of Thebes and was offered the Queen Jocasta as his wife and they conceived four kids. Not long after, there came a drought in Thebes.
  • The only way to get over the drought is to find the killer of the late king.
  • Oedipus was determined to find the killer of the late king so he went to Tiresias, the blind prophet, to seek answers.
  • How dare you say such thing? Did Creon put you up to this?
  • You are the man you seek.
  • Who killed the late king?
  • Oedipus believed that Creon had set him up to steal the throne away from him.
  • How have you suffered in my hands?
  • You had set me up!
  • Jocasta heard all the fighting and went in between the two. Then, she talked to Oedipus alone.
  • Knowing this for himself, or hearsay?
  • They talked about Creon and how Laius was killed. Then a messenger came and said that the king of Corinth is dead.
  • He said that I murdered Laius!
  • Oedipus asked for the help of the Messenger to help find the guy who gave him to the Messenger.
  • The child was the son of Laius
  • Then, Oedipus realized everything. He was the son of Laius and Jocasta. He then found out that Jocasta killed herself and then he gauged out his eyes. Then, he was exiled from Thebes.
  • THE END.
