Storyboard Text

  • No it's fine, I'm just not hungry. Im going to bed goodnight.
  • Is something wrong with the food? You haven't been eating lately
  • Aren't you going to watch the footy.... oh
  • *sighs*
  • Tom's mum has been noticing his eating habits latley haven't been good. Tom not liking the attention goes up to his room by himself.
  • Why? Are you ok is there anything you want to talk about?
  • Mum I don't feel like going to school today
  • I just don't feel like it
  • Toms mum asks him if he is going to watch the footy with his dad but realised he had already gone.
  • How was school?
  • I need to talk to you about something
  • Are you ok?
  • Not good. Not good at all.
  • No Tom, there is nothing wrong with you. It will end and you will find your way out of it I promise all you need is some help
  • Tom picks up his phone to text his friends but then feels no motivation and can't be bothered. As he feels like they don't understand him and what he is feeling and going through.
  • I have been feeling sad and worried but for no reason. I'm confused is there something wrong with me
  • Next day... before school in the morning. He normaly loves school and is a pain to get to stay home even when he is sick. Thinking that maybe he's just having a bad day she makes him go to school and will be fine by the time he gets home.
  • Tom's mum felt obliged to meet Tom before he went into the house as she did not want to be ignored. She knew something was wrong and she was there to confront him about it. To sit down and talk.
  • Tom realises his mum has noticed that he hadn't been alright and she wouldn't go without an answer. He trusted his mum and he knew she would help him he just felt scared to face the truth.He is glad she kept asking him, even though he didn't want to talk at first.
