  • Virginia's slavery
  • Virginia was home to the most slaves because there were many plantations. These slaves had a very hard time working for no pay all year round.
  • Your job here is done you disgusting fools.
  • How was your day ? Did they whip you like yesterday
  • Here in Virginia, slaves had a one room hut which was useful to up to 5 children and 2 parents.
  • No whips today but they forced us to put our heads down the day.
  • Well get in dear you need to get a good nights rest.
  • Slaves home
  • If they even had some type of mattresses they were very lucky. Some slept on haystacks
  • The most these slaves had two worn out mattresses and rags they made. They were no windows so the door was the only opening.
  • So where are the children ?
  • There sleeping in that corner in a few rags I made today
  • These were some of the children that would go to the one room school. These children's neighbors either went to England for school or hired a tuter to teach them.
  • Come on guy's were going to be whipped for being late again!
