Chapter 13 was the half way point through the book and this is where Ishmael and his friends and his brother start fighting for the war. I choose to do a storyboard on this chapter because this is the part where Ishmael realizes that all the training they did was about to be used.I also choose to do a story board on chapter 13 because this is right before Ishmael starts changing and becomes a soldier. In these scenes Ishmael and his friends are going to the square. "We went to the square wearing our army shorts and the crapes that were given to us.Then next once they get to the square they decide to play a match of soccer and the lieutenant watches them. Then once they finish from soccer the boys decided to go swimming. The significance of the story was the part about when the boy soldiers thought when the lieutenant told the boys to pack ammunition, the boys thought it was just one of the other drills but it wasnt. ''Dont take too much, though we want you to be able to run fast''
"we went to the square wearing our army shorts and the crapes that had been given to us"
We went to the square wearing our army shorts and the crapes that had been given us. we started a soccer game, and as we played the lieutenant sat and watched us.
When we were done with soccer, we decided to go to the river for a swim
we stopped our playing and followed him to the village. as we jogged to catch up with him, we jokingly tripped and pushed each other into the bushes
At the village we were asked to service our AK-47's.
I looked up and saw some of the of the older soldiers were doing the same
