shut not your doors to me proud librariesFor that which was lacking on all your well-fill shelves, yet needed most, I bring
fourth stanza
Forth from the war emerging, a book I have made,
the poem is about a man coming home from war with a book that he wrote, and hes trying to get it put into a library
fifth stanza
The words of my book nothing, the drift of it everything
the man is attempting to get a library to take his book but continues to be shut out
seventh stanza
A book separate, not link’d with the rest nor felt by the intellect
the man is returning from war with a book he wrote
last stanza
But you ye untold latencies will thrill to every page.
the writer is saying the words in the book have no meaning but the drive behind them is vast
this book is one of a kind and cant be grasped easily
the book is not easily read and is unique but everyone will be able to enjoy it in there own way
