When George and Lennie arrived at their new ranch George was accused of stealing Lennies pay by the boss because George was talking for Lennie because he was mentally diabled and would ruin the job oppourtunity for them this caused tension which i considered rising action
Lennie met curleys wife when she walked into their bunk house looking for Curley. He was instantly infatuated by her appearance. this was their first encounter so i consider this rising action also
Lennie accidentally killed Curleys wife because he likes to pet soft things and when she started to panic he tried to get her to stop struggling but he accidentally snapped her neck after this it helped George come to a realization that he could no longer take care of Lennie so this is the climax or the turning point of the story
Lennie ran to the woods to hide in the bush where George told him to in case he ever got in trouble, so when the guys got back they could'nt find him and they found Curleys wife dead and they put the pieces together to conclude that Lennie did it and this was falling action
When George found Lennie, he killed him out of fear of what the others would do to him once they found him and this was the resolution of the story
