After girl scouts, Raina is dropped off at home. When walking, her friend Kelli yells 'Last one to the porch is a rotten egg!' Raina then tries to catch up, grabs Kelli's hood, and stumbles to the ground, knocking out one of her teeth, and pushing the other one up into her gums.
Quick, get her mom!
Raina starts the seventh grade, with braces. For seventh hour, she has band. On the first day, she meets Sammy, a sixth grader, who she seemed to start to like.
Really?! Seventh?! Wow! Oh my gosh. Wow!
A huge earthquake occurs, knocking down the bay bridge. This brings Raina's family, and all of San Fransisco/bay are, together for awhile. At night, Raina notices how beautiful the city looks without any lights.
Will!! Don't just stand there!! Come here quick!
Raina's so-called-friends trick her into putting on a bunch of makeup, and dressing up very weirdly, to impress a boy. Little did she know while she was doing it, that he doesn't like any of this stuff, and they were just tricking her so that they could laugh at her.
Waaaaait a minute...
Raina's 'friends' go up to her at lunch and pants her. This put Raina over the edge, or pushed her last button. After this, she stood up to them and told them that she was done, and goodbye. Then, in gym class, she met Theresa, and became friends with her, and Theresa's friend group.
