Who will speak with me?
You should go to sleep and then see the statue in the morning.
There was once a fierce Griffin who lived in the Dreadful Wilds. He didn't know what he looked like.
He heard of a town with a statue of him. So he flew there and the townspeople were scared of him.
The townspeople don't want to talk to the Griffin so they send the Minor Canon to talk to him.
The next morning the Minor Canon took the Griffin to the church with the statue. The Griffin stayed there all day.
The Griffin went to the church and did the same thing for the next few days but the Minor Canon had to teach his class. Gradually he started to get closer to the Minor Canon and watch him teach his class of misbehaved children.
It was getting close to the equinox so the townspeople sent the Minor Canon away to the Dreadful Wilds hoping that the Griffin would follow him.
