They first start off with 3 tan ones and 3 grey ones. As we can see the grey color is easily seen but the tan is not.
Because of the grey ones easily being seen they get spotted by predators and slowly die off
But one shift in the environment started to give they grey colored ones more advantages in the habitat
Although they are dying the tan they can still reproduce but not as good as the grey ones.
100,000 years later their are no longer any more tan mice in this environment the grey gene is the only gene left their is no longer any more genetic variation any more.
