  • The beginning 
  • his early life 
  • a young child 
  • Around 570 C.E. Muhammad was born in a town named mecca. he had a very humble beginning.
  • 12 to a respected trader 
  • Muhammad was apart of a clan called hashim, noted his birth. many weren't apart of the clan. his father died and the clan was poor. 
  • he became a prophet 
  • following customs Muhammad's mother had sent him to a nomad family in the dessert there he learned about Arab traditions. such as being kind to strangers also helping orphans widows and other needy member of society. 
  • his final years 
  • when Muhammad was five or six he returned to the city and his mother that didn't have much time together because she soon died he was left with his grandfather who was a highly regarded leader of the clan but when his grand father died he was in the care of his uncle a respected merchant. Muhammad  soon became a trader he enjoyed a reputation for honesty . 
  • Muhammad was in his 20's and began managing caravans for a widow named khadijah who later proposed a marriage Muhammad excepted and they had several children the next 15 years he made profit as a merchant he spent time praying in the mountains in 610 C.E. Muhammad was given the prophet by and angel named Gabriel. Gabriel asked Muhammad to recite some words Muhammad left he cave in fear Muhammad was the messenger of god.  
  • Muhammad with the help of Gabriel had thought people that there was only one god and that rich should share their wealth. To prevent the spread of his teaching some Arabs called Muhammad a liar. in march 632 Muhammad led his final pilgrimage in the town of his birth shortly after that he died. this religion is still used today
