  • Setting Ch. 1
  • Hey Greaser. *In a weird voice* some behind said
  • Movie Theater
  •           Meeting Cherry Ch. 2-3  
  • Cherry Valance: is a red head, outspoken, goodlooking,and cheerleader.
  • First, a blue Mustang show up where at a park where Ponyboy and Johnny are staying for the night. Next, in the Mustang were some Socs that wanted to fight them. Then, in a fierce fight the two of them weren't good enough for the Socs. Later, Bob, a Socs, the dunk the Ponyboy in the fountain and was trying to drown him but,  to save Ponyboy, Johnny killed Bob.  After, Ponyboy and Johnny goes to Tin Sheperds house where Dally was.
  • Johnny Killed Bob Ch. 4-6
  • 2:30 A.M.
  • Ponyboy, the main character, is a 14, a Greaser, the youngest in the gang, and has good grades. In the first chapter Ponyboy gets jumped by this Soc named Paul Newman.
  • The Rumble Ch. 7-9
  • Ponyboy is walking home after seeing a movie
  • Ponyboy, Dally, and Johnny go to the drive-in movie, and meet Cherry Valance. Later, Ponyboy tells Cherry about Johnny's jumping. Then, Ponyboy and his friends walk the girls home, Ponyboy realize that Cherry and him have a lot in common. After, some Socs showed up and wanted to start some trouble with the Greasers. Finally, when Ponyboy gets home Danny slaps him because he came home late.    
  •               The Theme Ch 10-12
  • "Johnny's dead and Dally is going crazy".  
  •  "Ponyboy what happened, where did you go"?
  •                                                                                                     Finally, Dally gives a gun, money, and clothes to them and tells them to hide. While, Ponyboy and Johnny were in hiding they cut and dyed their hair. A week later Dally visits them and takes them to Dairy Queen. While at Dairy Queen a fire starts in the church where Ponyboy and Johnny were staying for the week. In the church were children; Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally went to rescue the children, while at that Ponyboy was okay, but Dally had minor injuries and Johnny was severely injured. 
  • The Moral
  • Right now Johnny is in critical condition; Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally are viewed as hero's. Randy, a Socs, talks to Ponyboy at "Tasty Freeze", about Bob's death. Two-bit and Ponyboy visit the hospital; Ponyboy doesn't have a good feeling about the rumble. Cherry reports the rumble rules to Two-bit and Ponyboy. Talks to Ponyboy about the sunset. The rumble starts, in the end the Greaser win. When Dally and Pony boy went to tell Johnny, but before died he told Ponyboy to stay gold.
  • Ponyboy tells the Greasers about Johnny's death and Dally's disappearance, Dally robs a store and is in trouble. Dally pulls a gun on the police and later he is shot. Since Dally dies Ponyboy passes out and has a concussion. The Curtis Brother attend court as Ponyboy acquitted and is sent home. 
  • Ponyboy has a difficulty readjusting to life; English teacher asks him to write a theme. Ponyboy opens the copy of "Gone With The Wind", from Johnny and finds a letter in it. Ponyboy starts his theme based on his life experiences.   
  • Ponyboy realizes people are too quick to judge and that Greasers and Socs aren't all that different. Johnny teaches everyone that life goes on and too quickly so enjoy it while you can.
