  • DR. JOHN HOLLAND RIASEC CODE
  • Hi, today I am going to talk about Dr. John Holland, the creator of the RIASEC code on my way to the fair
  • Dr. Holland created the RIASEC code that refers to 6 personality types and helps you find jobs that match your personality.
  • Beatriz Vasquez
  • DEFINITIONS
  • What does it mean?
  • The S stands for Social, the E stands for Enterprising, and the C stands for Conventional
  • The R stands for Realistic, the I stands for Investigate, the A stands for Artistic,...
  • The Survey
  • Hello, Mrs. Childree do you know what your RIASEC code is?
  • Do y'all know what your RIASEC code is? I wonder if my principal knows hers.
  • Dr. John Holland created this to focus on careers that can be determined by 6 personalities.
  • The Survey
  • I took the RIASEC code test and my code was SEA. My dominant personality was social, and my two recessive traits were enterprising and artistic.
  • What type of questions did it ask you?
  • Each letter stands for a different personality.
  • Careers
  • To be a commercial diver I also need a high school diploma and I must be good in English, reading, and writing. I am also required to pass a diving physical and obtain a TWIC card.
  • Two jobs that match my RIASEC code are a police detective and a commercial diver.
  •   You can take a survey at personality-testing.info and it will give you a code after answering a few questions.
  • Salary
  • i wonder how much those jobs will pay me
  • tickets
  • No I don't know what it is Beatriz, do you know yours?
  • The first letter of the code is your dominant personality trait, and the last two letters are your recessive traits. You can take the personality test on personality-testing.info
  • It gave me a list of things and i had to check how much I like to do those things and it gave me my code
  • Okay, I will try it out later. Thanks! See you soon, Bye!
  • After taking the survey you go to www.onetonline.org and put in the three letter code. It will then give you a list of jobs that match your personality.
  • To be a police detective I must have a high school diploma or GED. Some positions require a bachelors degree.
  • A police detective can make about $52,000 if they work for ten years. A commercial diver that has worked for 5-10 years can make $64,000 yearly.
  • I hope you learned something new from me today. I'll go have some fun in the rides now
  • Police detectives get paid $81,490 yearly and commercial divers get paid $56,300 yearly.
  • WOOHOO!!
