Storyboard Text

  • EXPOSITION: In Verona, in the 1600s, Romeo shows his lust for Rosaline and the Montagues and Capulets show their normal conversation.
  • RISING ACTION: Romeo meets Juliet at the Capulets house and falls in love with Juliet and forgets about Rosaline. Romeo needs to secretly marry Juliet because a Capulets and a Motangue would never be allowed to.
  • CLIMAX: Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo then kills Tybalt in revenge. Romeo is ordered to be banished from Verona.
  • FALLING ACTION: Juliet gets the news that she must marry Paris. Juliet turns to Friar Lawrence for help so she doesn’t have to marry Paris. Friar Lawerence gives Juliet a potion to fake her own death.
  • RESOLUTION: Romeo finds Juliet dead. He drinks his potion to kill himself. Then, Juliet wakes up to find Romeo dead so she stabs herself.
  • The Capulets and the Montagues realize what their hatred for each other caused their children to do, so they end their feud.
