  • Emily McDaid CF3 Health   April 25, 2019 Conflict Resolution Comic Strip
  • In this comic strip you will follow Ted's situation and determine what the best resolution is.  Ted started a new High School last week as a Freshmen. At this school everyone already knows each other and has their own friend groups, but there are some students who Ted was friends with before school even started. The kids that he was friends with before have decided not to be friends with him anymore and bully him. Ted is really hurt with how his "friends" have changed and are bullying him.  Ted has decided that he will talk to his friends using Effective Questioning & Assertive Communication resulting in hopefully a positive resolution.
  • Hi my name is Ted and I am a Freshman in High School
  • Ted is struggling in the social aspect of school as he has had a problem with other students
  • Ted used assertive communication and his friends used effective questioning to understand the situation and be on the same page. They realized how they were making him feel and are working on being better friends.
  • Ted and his friends are all at their baseball practice. They are working together and are friends.
  • Ted and his "friends" have baseball practice at 4:00. He got to the locker room early in hopes of talking to them. He doesn't want to have to quit baseball because of how uncomfortable he feels.
