- I remember when we had to hunt and gather our food. The food supply was not very stable. Hunting was dangerous and gathering berries was very time-consuming.
- But now we found ways to depend less on hunting and more on planting seeds to grow crops.
- Over time we learned what seeds worked the best in the areas in which we lived.
- This was a very important time for us because it made life safer and more efficient.
