How a Bill Becomes a Law! By Rebecca LeChard
Hello! Today I will be telling you about the story of Bob the Bill. His goal was to help save Earth and prevent cimate change bynot letting companies burn fossil fuels.
First, before he was even a bill he was just an idea!
After the people of the town thought of him he was then written on paper by the representative of his state and sent to the House of Representatives.
The House of Representatives approved Bob the Bill!
Now Bob the Bill is off to Committee where is will debated and discussed. (They also revise it so it now is now only making companies limit how much fossil fuels they burn.)
Bob the Bill gets passed Committee!
Since Bob the Bill makes it passed Committee he then will go back to the House of Prepresentatives.
Bob the Bill made it passed the House!
Now Bob the Bill has made it to the senate. The senate then says yes to Bob and bob then goes to the President's office! From there the president makes the Bob the Bill an official law!
BOB THE BILL IS OFFICIALLY A LAW!
