  • In a monarchy, a king or queen rules the country. Monarchs come into power through their family lines, and hold all power and have the final say over the governments. 
  • Theocracy
  • Dictatorship is a form of government when one leader has all control over the citizens. 
  • Oligarchy
  • In a democracy, the citizens hold most political power. Citizens are able to have a say in government law and political representatives. 
  • Anarchy
  • In a theocracy the government recognizes God is the ultimate authority. The religious law is used as a constitution to rule and settle disputes of the people. 
  • An oligarchy is a small group of people who have all the power. 
  • In an anarchy, nobody is in control. Everyone depends on themselves.
