Storyboard Text

  • Hey Mom, can I ask you something?
  • What is it hun?
  • You have a tutoring session that day, remember?
  • I'm going out on Saturday.
  • Daughter Jamie walks into her Mom's office to ask her a question.
  • No you're not, you are staying home to get tutored.
  • Jamie proceeds to ask her Mom if she can go out with friends this Saturday.
  • You guys need to calm down and sort this out rationally.
  • Mom quickly reminds her that she has a tutoring session on the same day and that she has no choice but to see her friends another time.
  • I'm sorry Mom.
  • I'm sorry too Jamie.
  • Jamie tries to explain to her mom that she studies every single day and she just wants one day off to go hang out with her friends. Unfortunately, her mom didn't agree with Jamie and they just kept arguing without ever reaching a middle ground.
  • It wasn't until her father walked into the room things started to calm down. He reminded them both that they shouldn't be fighting over things that are happening on Saturday. Instead, they should just come to a civil agreement and move on happily.
  • Mom and Jamie both looked at each other and decided that they were being silly and finally came to an agreement that Jamie can simply just reschedule her appointment for tutoring and still go out to hang with her friends on Saturday.
