Storyboard Text

  • Aphrodite was born in the sea, where she arose from the foam. Zeus then married her off to Hephaestus, the God of Forge, because they thought her beauty would start a war. Hephaestus was very kind to her. He would make her make her jewelry and he made her girdle. She used the girdle to make men fall in love with her.
  • Aphrodite began to use her girdle to make the Gods/Goddesses fall in love.  This made an offspring known as a Demigod. She also used the belt to make mortals fall in love with her. She had many affairs such as Ares.
  • Soon Hephaestus caught her in one of her affairs. While she was in the act, he captured them in a net and took them to the gods. They just basically laughed at him, but Aphrodite did get punished for creating a demigod. Soon after, Aphrodite fell in love with a mortal, Anchises, who she used the girdle on.
  • After she made him fall in love with her she became pregnant. She found out she would have to bear this child. She then is humiliated for bearing this child from a mortal. The childs name is Aeneas.
  • After Hephaestus found out she was having affairs he still stayed loyal. He was also humiliated. She also had other children with other men such as Phobos, Harmonia, Eros ect.
  • After bearing the baby, from the mortal, she decided to stop from making Gods/Goddesses from falling in love.
