After the bears came home to find in their home, they called the police. The police gathered enough evidence from the crime scene and witness accounts and filed an arrest warrant.
At her arraignment, Goldilocks pleaded not guilty after hearing all of the crimes she had been charged for. The bears were then informed that the D.A. would take their case to General District court. Goldilocks, who paid $200 bail, appeared in court with a personally-employed lawyer.
Goldilocks did not know it at the start, but her lawyer was actually under the influence during court proceedings which actually violates due process and the 6th Amendment. The judge found Goldilocks guilty in her trial.
