Medea says "You are stronger, I am beaten" Creon says " You sound harmless, but in your heart I am terrified you're plotting evil." (Medea falls to her knees begging him) "Please! I touch your knees." (Medea grabs Creon's hand) "I beseech you by your daughter, the new bride"
(Creon pulls hands away from Medea) "You are wasting words. You'll never win me over" (Medea cries out) "Just one day! Let me stay to make plans for our exile."
(Creon steps closer and sympathizes with Medea) "Now too, madam, I see I am making a mistake, But still, I grant your request" (Creon exits)
