On the year 1845 a Qunah Parker was born to be the next Comanche Leader of the Quahadi band. Son of the Comanche Cheif Peta Nocona and Cynthia Ann Parker an Anglo American.
His mother Cynthia Ann Parker was a white settler that was captured in a raid and grew up with the Indians learning about there life. Peta Nocona was the chief of the Comanche Quahadi Tribe.
By the 1860s the Quahadas was known as the most war like of the various Comanche bands. Among them, Quanah became a very good horseman and proved himself to be an able leader
His abilities put him in high demand, but as a leader, he refused to attend the Medicine Lodge Treaty Council or to move to a reservation as provided by the treaty
Quanah and his men went on for several years staying hidden and raiding rangers campsites in the night. Mackenzie soon gave up his search for the Indians as they disappeared in the Plains.
Finnaly out of the survival of his people Quanah surrendered to the settlers and moved into the reservations with the other tribes, ironically Quanah got along very well with the white men
