  • Neolithic Peroid
  • Hey Bob!
  • Thanks for asking. My house is doing very well.
  • Moo
  • How is your farm doing mine is doing great.
  • Creating Permanent Shelters
  • Thanks I worked on it for a long time.
  • I'm going to go into the house.
  • Wow. Nice house you got there.
  • BAA
  • The paleolithic times was when men had to hunt for animals to eat. Men were often wounded or killed. People didn't know how to farm. Women were always to try to find things to eat. For example,  some women were trying to find roots. They had to live in caves. Some of the people who lived in these caves made art like animals, handprints, etc... Then one day...
  • Constructing Communities
  • I'm tired.
  • I'm going home.
  • I guess this is the end world.
  • Yawn.
  • A revolution had just begun. Someone had just submerged a plant with water and it started growing. After thousands of years later people domesticated animals. Domesticate means to tame.  Then agriculture began which means to farm and to raise animals. Lots of people started to plant seeds and harvest crops for food. Many people stopped hunting and risking their life.
  • Developing Special Jobs
  • Nice job! I'm a farmer
  • Dad I have become a toolmaker!
  • People who were once hunting and collecting roots to eat were known as nomads but when people started to construct houses and live in them they were not known as nomads. People used mud brick packed together to create houses. Houses were usually rectangular shaped or round. People used ladders to reach the opening of the houses because they built their houses very tall.
  • Bargaining
  • No problem!
  • MOO!
  • Thanks for trading with me.
  • I'm going home.
  • People made permanent shelters.  This allowed people to construct larger communities. Some people made farms far away from the village to start farming. Some benefits for living in a community is that people could organize things more effectively. This allowed people to  divide work. For example some people started organizing crops while others made tools.
  • Zz.
  • go to sleep.
  • Baa
  • Please let me live at your house.
  • Sorry we have no room.
  • It's good to be back home.
  • Baa
  • Now since people had a stable food supply, people developed new jobs. For example some people became toolmakers, weavers, basket makers. Farmers started planting more than 14 types of food. Clothing creators discovered a way to weave and spin. They wove natural fibers. Some even mined flint to make stronger and more efffective tools.
  • Well Done!
  • ZZ!
  • Good for you!
  • A important thing that happened was bargaining had been introduced. People has started trading with other tribes. When people started adapting into new places trading became more common. Most people traded for things that they didn't have. As people started to develop new tools traders would have to trade with other people to get new resources. Getting new resources became the new job of traders.
  • Sure I'll trade with you.
  • Baa
  • Hey wanna trade?
