  • Near a river in classical Rome, a legion of the Roman military prepared for battle against their enemies to the north/
  • Alright men, once we advance across the river, the fight begins.
  • Maximus, a member of the legion, was worried about going into battle, and he decided to run away and disobey orders.
  • I don't want to go into battle, maybe I should run away.
  • Once he runs away, Maximus realizes the gravity of his actions and fears what may happen.
  • I shouldn't of run away, I have caused a disservice to my army.
  • The leader of the legion realizes that Maximus is missing and becomes mad because he did not follow the Roman law.
  • Where has Maximus gone, he has not followed my orders, and we must punish him for betraying our army.
  • The leader of the legion waits outside of the city gates waiting to kill Maximus as he returns.
  • Once he returns, I will kill him for his cowardice.
  • Maximus is slain because of his actions against the Roman Empire, and he is seen as a traitor.
  • Here lies Maximus of Rome, a traitor to our great army.
