The Seahorse and the Reef
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hey Rongo! Good day for kai moana today?
I see the seahorse again..shimmering and luminous with light. And I remember the reef again...As long as we respect it, it will respect us.
See you next weekend!
Hey, Huia! he would shout to Mum those kina are calling out to me today! So are the dishes, she would answer. Ok Huia but those pipi are going to miss us today.
The next day...
We have poisoned the land and now we feed our poison into your waters.
DO NOT Take food from the sea. The water is polluted
The family headed down to the beach where they gathered with Whanau, and caught Kai Moana.
The Whanau said their good byes and left.
The sea was polluted and if they ate the kai they would get sick. Their land and food had now been taken away from them.
Through dead waving seaweed the seahorse searches frantically for cleaner water.
