Hey dude look at that star, it's pretty cool.
Yeah it's called "Betelgeuse" and its part of Orion's Belt
After researching the star, I've learned that it gives off energy during fusion.
Yeah the helium is fusing into heavier elements like carbon, oxygen and neon. Because it's already fused its hydrogen into helium during fusion.
While fusion is happening, the star gives off energy in the form of photons, which translates into light.
The color of the star is also determined by the light waves, and can vary on the spectrum of color.
