Loose clothing items such as your dress and your scarf and hat are not safe in a lab. They are hazards to you and the people around you. Imagine if they caught on fire.
You should be wearing long pants, close toed shoes, socks, and shirts that at least cover your shoulders. Anything that leaves your skin too vulnerable is not safe, and anything loose that can catch on fire, or come into contact with chemicals is a unsafe.

Thanks for letting us know, we will make sure to dress appropriately next time. Good thing you told us before something bad happened.
