Martin Luther was on his way to becoming a lawyer until his life was put at risk when he was caught in a terrible storm. Desperately, Luther prayed to Saint Ann and promised if he survived the storm he would become a monk.
After Luther became a monk he carefully studied the bible. Luther found differences in the bible that varied from the practices from the church, in particular, the selling of indulgences. On the 31st on October Luther nailed the 95 theses to the church door, eloborating what the church was doing wrong.
Shortly after Luther nailed his 95 theses, the church started losing money. Consequently, Luther is charged with heresy Rome. His words, "I neither can nor will recant." Luther defends himself with statements based on the bible. Sensing loss Luther flees returning to Wittenberg under the protection of Frederick the wise.

Luther is excommunicated and was forced to appear in front of "the diet of worms" (The council of worms). In court, Luther challenged authority in a way that altered history.
On Luther's journey back to Wittenberg, Luther was "kidnapped" by none other than Fredric the wise (under protection).
Safe under protection, Luther grows a beard and goes by the name of 'squire George' to cover his identity. Soon after Luther translated the Bible into German so then everyone could read it, It took him ten weeks. Although Unaware, Martin Luther had started a reformation and has gone down in history as one of the main reformers of the Christian faith, and now has his own religion, Lutheran. THE END
