  • Really?!
  • Women played a major role during the war. Women spied by eavesdropping on conversations. Also, gathered needed supplies such they sewed uniforms, blankets, and made bullets for the soldiers. Furthermore, provided service like cooking, laundering, and nursing. Women participated in the boycott, and made home-made goods instead of buying British goods.
  • Foreign~Born Heroes of the Revolution
  • Listen up! Today we're learning how to fight like professional soldier.
  • Natives fought for the British in exchange for goods and ownership of their own land from the American settlers, they provided the British with extra men. Natives fought for the Patriots because they have formed families and personal connections, they provided men and weapons.
  • Espionage/Intelligence Gathering
  • ????????????????????
  • Both the British and the Americans promised freedom to any slave for exchange of service in war. Enslaved blacks often assigned roles such as wagoners, cooks, artisans, and etc. Freed blacks participated in war on both sides. After the war, African Patriots were put back into slavery. On the other hand, African Loyalist gained freedom from escaping the colonies.

  • Flint musket for minute-man
  • Foreign heroes helped the Americans without pay. They used smart military tactics and strategy. Also, they taught how to fight and trained the American cavalry. Take Baron von steuben(Prussian) as an example, he quickly taught the Americans to fight like professionals.
  • There was many ways to spy during the American Revolution. One way was masked letters, it was an innocent letter that reveals key details once you put an template over it. Another way was writing in invisible ink, this way nobody will suspect anything suspicious in a letter. In Addition, ciphers and code were often used as in writing my numerical code.
  • During the American Revolution, soldiers used muskets as an primary weapon. Muskets were often attached with bayonets which were 17 inches long, bayonets act like a spear. Both sides used linear tactic. Linear tactic is an row of lined up soldiers, they would fire then reload, then the row behind the first one would fire.
  • Secondary weapon
  • Cannon balls are massive and can annihilate enemies
