In the Carbon cycle Photosynthesis transfers sunlight and Co2 energy into plants.
The plant also absorbs H2o and Co2 to make oxygen and carbs.
A series of steps in which organisms transfer energy by eating and being eaten.
A herbivore eats plants and is later eaten by a carnivore. Once the carnivore dies decomposers, detrivores feed on it's body.
Cellular Respiration is the process that releases energy by breaking down glucose and other food molecules in the presence of oxygen.
People and animals breathe in oxygen and release Co2 in which plants take in.
Decomposition is when organic matter decomposes and puts carbon into the ground.
When an animal or plant dies, it's body decomposes and puts carbon into the ground.
Combustion occurs when any organic material is reacted in the presence of oxygen to give off H2o and Co2 and energy.
The organic material can be any fossil fuel such as coal methane and oil.
