Storyboard Text

  • Introduction to The Protagonist’s World
  • Call to Action
  • Crossing the Threshold
  • I, Besmah Sameer Muhammad Ali Yehya Saleh Al-Ashari, am just an ordinary Arab-America Muslim girl living in Virginia with her six annoying siblings and caring parents.
  • Mentor Teaches the Lead
  • We're gonna be best friends! Or better yet, sisters!
  • I have a dream that I have more potential than just living in Virginia as an ordinary Muslim girl. I need to fulfil my full potential, which is being the Arabian Princess.
  • First Challenge
  • Sorry but my son is royalty; therefore, he needs to marry a wealthy girl.
  • My parents allow me to go to the Middle East and stay with my cousin there so I can find the Arab prince to marry.
  • Final Challenge
  • This is delicious, you're an amazing cook!
  • Wow look at all of this food! Your mother taught you well!
  • I coincidentally bump into the Arab Prince’s sister at a shop and talk for a bit. We talk as if we have been friends our entire lives. She says I would make a good sister in law and introduces me to the Arab Prince.
  • I must Impress the Arab Prince and his parents so I can marry him and become the Arabian Princess. I fail to do so because they deny me and say I’m not rich enough.
  • I must attempt to impress parents again but this time by showing off cooking skills. I succeed and make them (and myself) realize that money doesn’t matter but personality and skill do.
