Storyboard Text

  • Dragon! Come out and fight! Fight for Princess Cimorene!
  • You are? Are you sure?
  • Of course I'm sure! What do you want, letters of reference?
  • Stop that! I'm Princess Cimorene!
  • Cimorene is sorting through the dragon's treasury, when she hears faint shouting. She pauses for a moment, then heads off toward the noise.
  • Well, if you are Cimorene, I'm here to rescue you.
  • At the door of the cave, a knight in full armor is shouting and waving a sword.
  • I don't want to be rescued, thanks just the same!
  • I thought that might be the case!
  • Cimorene is visibly worried when the shouting becomes legible, but she puts on a determined face before she opens the door.
  • But...princesses always want to be rescued!
  • Not this princess! I like it here and I intend to stay!
  • The knight is clearly confused. He puts down his sword and opens his visor as he talks to the princess.
  • Cimorene's pose and voice should suggest deliberate nonchalance.
  • The knight moves toward Cimorene as she says her last piece, but she slips back through the door before he can reach her.
  • But...wait!
