The U.S. needs these lands so you and your tribes will need to move West where we promise you good land
I don't know what to tell you! You have to pay even if you don't want to, deal with it. It is President Jackson's order!
I refuse to pay for the tax increase on goods!!!! This is not fair for the South it only benefits the North!
I am really done with the BUS! It literally only is good for the rich, I don't want or think it should be rechartered!
Okay President Jackson, but I don't think a lot of people are going to like this. But we can try!
Although Andrew Jackson believed that the Indians had to move so that the U.S. could have the land for mining and other resources, Indian removal was not fair because the Native Americans had made treaties with the U.S., and they would have to move from ancestral lands, and would have to move to land that did not meet their cultural needs like the soil not being good for farming.
Even though, South Carolina thought they had the right to nullify the Tariff they really didn't, and President Andrew Jackson made sure to enforce this law and handle the revolt, as stated in the Constitution it was his role to enforce laws.
Although it is the Judicial branch's responsibility to determine the constitutionality of a law, the BUS should not have been rechartered because it was not fair to all classes of wealth, it was not effective nor popular and it had an unfair advantage of supporting the rich class
Even though Andrew Jackson thought his decisions were beneficial to the country they weren't, he should be known as King Andrew due to his abuse of power by deeming the constitutionality of laws, which was not his job, making unfair treaties with the Indians, and by making unconstitutional choices.
