A prince was gonna get killed and due to this he went to Spain because there was people that liked him there . He made a great city, he extended a mosque that can now hold up to 50,000 people and there was a huge library that was said to have contained 400,000 books. This city was celebrated as an education center.
The Ottoman Empire were rivals to Muslims. Suleyman 1 was known to lead a great navy equipted guns and canons.

The Safavid Empire arose when a youthful leader named Ismail united the Persian Kingdoms into an independent state in 1501. He rapidly extended Persia's borders. The Safavid's fought a log war with the Ottoman Empire and lasted for over 100 years. The Safavid's were also rivals of the Sunni Ottomans.
Art and Architecture
In 1156, the Mughal leader Akbar the Great came to the throne at the age of 13 and led Muslim India to a brilliant golden age. Akbar doubled the Baburs conquests and stabilized the empire by establishing a loyal governing class and an effective modern government. He also allowed different religions in the Empire without any punishments.
The Muslim quest for knowledge helped make the form of medicine practiced in Muslim lands the most advanced in the world. Muslims built many hospitals , and doctors collected the best available medical knowledge and then they would organize it into books. They would also use and encyclopedia which showed treatments for illnesses and included in-depth descriptions on surgeries.
A typical mosque would be topped by a large dome and had one or more minarets. The inside of a mosque had distinctive features under the dome was the prayer hall. The inside of a mosque was often elaborate. Such as elegant writing called calligraphy and abstract design known as arabesque.
