The cities started to employ architects and artists. The temples, places, and other public buildings were much larger. This was because the rulers wanted it to reflect how it glorified them and they wanted to be seen as godlike.
Hellenistic culture blends eastern and western cultures. It also blended Greek, Persian, Egyptian, and Indian influences. The local people started to absorb the Greek ideas and the settlers adopted local customs.
Alexander's changes spread across the Mediterranean world and the middle east. One of the last Hellenistic worlds was Alexandria, Egypt, this was named after Alexander the great. One of the things that changed the most was the spread of Greek culture and that had the biggest impact on Society, because they started to believe in new things.

Women were no longer required to stay in their homes. Also a lot more of them learned to read and write. Since they were learning more some became philosophers and others poets, they also had much more power and could even be leaders like Cleopatra
Math and Science
They had many advances in math and science, one example is Pythagoras which is the relationship between the sides of a right angle. Another thing that they found out about was that the Earth was round and rotated on an axis and orbited around the sun. Also the lever and pulley was a big thing that they figured out.
The Greek physician Hippocrates started to study illness and look for cures. He also set the medical standards for the other doctors. Since he set those standards many doctors started to sweat to help the sick and so on.
