  • ACT II: Scene I
  • Marriage
  • ACT II: Scene II
  • Chorus explained that Romeo's infatuation with Rosaline has disappeared and been replaced  with his feelings for Juliet and the   risks of them being in love because of the feud.
  • ACT II: Scene III
  • After Benvolio and Mercutio gave up looking for Romeo after concluding he did not want to be found,  Romeo successfully jumped over the  Capulet's wall and is hid  near Juliet's balcony.   Romeo and Juliet confess their love for each other and  Romeo plans to marry her. 
  • ACT II: Scene IV
  • Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence and expresses his love for Juliet and asks if he could marry them.  Friar Lawrence agrees for he thinks this marriage would end the Montague-Capulet feud. 
  • ACT II: Scene V
  • Benvolio reveals Tybalt has sent a threatening message. Juliet's Nurse and Peter arrive to send a message to Romeo. The Nurse explains that Juliet will marry Romeo. Then, Romeo sends a message back requesting that they meet that afternoon with Friar Lawrence. 
  • The Nurse gets back to the Capulet house where Juliet is excitedly waiting for the news. After much struggle, Juliet finally founds out about the plan to meet Romeo at Friar Lawrence's chapel.
  • Romeo and Juliet get married by Friar Lawrence.
