While finishing up dinner, the parent's children come home just in time for the parents to bring it to their attention that they must speak about the nursery.
The parents agree to turn off the nursery and have Mr. McClean shut it down, but the children are able to pull on the mother's heart strings, allowing them one last minute in the nursery.
Join us for some tea, Mr. McClean...
The children are able to trick the parents into the nursery, where they lock them in with the lions and vultures.
Literary Term- Irony
The parents end up being eaten alive by the lions, while the children are outside the door, not allowing them out. As the parents have their last moments alive, they realize why the screams they kept hearing sounded familiar.
Mr. McClean ended up still showing up to turn of the Nursery, when he arrived the parents were no where to be found, but the children were at the table having and snacks. They offered Mr. McClean to join them with a smile on their faces, nut he only asked where their parents were, they told him that they would be back later.
Umm... Where are your parents?
They'll be back later...
It's ironic because both parents laid in their bed, hearing the screams from the nursery. They agreed that the screams sounded familiar but they couldn't exactly understand why. That was until they were locked in the nursery, and were screaming themselves.
