  • So what do you want to be?
  • A dermatologist.
  • What kind of qualities do dermatologist need to have?
  • Things like good talking skills, be trusting, dependable, persistence and have concern for others. 
  • So how long does it take to become a dermatologist?
  • Well, first you have to get a undergraduate degree, then graduate medical school with a bachelors degree, after that, get a dermatologist license, then do a residency program which takes about 4 years. So it takes about 12 years.
  • It's Paige's first day of medical school. She meets a friend who asks her what she wants to be. She explains to her that she is wants to be a dermatologist. 
  • Yay! I'm finally graduating medical school! 
  • They go to lunch and Paige's friend thinks being a dermatologist would be cool, so Paige tells about the types of qualities dermatologist need. 
  • I have a rash on my arm.
  • Ok. Let me take a look. 
  • Then they walk back to class and Paige's friend asks her how long it takes to become a dermatologist.
  • Wow! My first paycheck. Now I can start paying off my student loans!
  •  After Paige finished medical and got her bachelors degree she is finally ready graduate medical school, get a dermatologist license, complete a residency and become a dermatologist! 
  • Paige finally got her license and completed her residency. It is her first day of work and this is her first patient.  
  • After one week of being a dermatologist Paige gets her first paycheck. She made $5923.00. That means she makes about $308,000 a year!
